The tea parties had nothing to do with Stupid’s retirement right? Yeah, sure. An 18-year veteran of political campaigns at a state level, Bart Stupid, uh Stupak rather, retires to spend more time with his family. Now that is courage. Remember Bart before the health care bill passed saying he would stand strong against any abortion coverage? Lie. Remember just two days ago him saying he wouldn’t retire? Lie. This guy is a fine example of liberal politics. Lie, lie, lie and then when in doubt, lie some more.
It is extremely gratifying to hear Stupid say that the tea parties had nothing to do with his decision, since he is a pathological liar we know the opposite must be true. My hat is off to the millions of tea party patriots out there and the pro-life warriors that have held him accountable for his bowing to bribery to pass health care legislation. The Tea Party Express III can celebrate its first post-Obamacare vote victory.
 Stupid Surrenders Seat
The field for Stupid’s seat is now wide open. A Republican held his seat before Stupid won it 18 years ago and a Republican can win it in November. What does that mean? Well, at least we’ll finally have a pro-life congressman in that office after 18 years of lying about the issue. I have more respect for an honest baby-killer than a poser who claims to be pro-life. Stupid, wherever you are, good luck, and be thankful you can spend time with your family and that you don’t live in China where your family might not exist due to forced abortions.
Planned Parenthood must be very sad. After all, for 18 years this lying liberal had them believing he was the enemy and then he votes for expanded baby-killing on the taxpayer dime and becomes a hero to eugenicists everywhere. Now, he steps down and the Black Mass Parenthood and Emily’s List groups have lost a true ally to the cause of infanticide. I feel really, really bad for them.
So, now what? Well, it seems to me that the Tea Party Express can put its money into other campaigns and defeat other equally dishonest liberals wherever they may be found. Matt McCormick, remember, is running against the downriver poster child for abortion and baby-killing in Deb Kennedy. He could use your help Tea Party! Send him cash. He won’t capitulate or lie to you about his conservative values or his dogged determination to preserve and protect life in all its human forms.

Wow. I wouldn’t normally act as a travel writer or critic, but I can’t stay quiet about Miami International Airport. I recently went south for a few days to relax before an upcoming run for Michigan’s 23rd. My beautiful wife and I departed the fantastic airport that lies in Romulus: Detroit Metro. In Florida our plane’s captain routed around a looming thunderstorm that was threatening the South Florida area and we landed a few minutes late at MIA.
The first word that came to mind in Miami? Dingy. A few other words came quickly thereafter: old, run-down, impractical, unnavigable and lousy. When we departed the plane we naturally looked for signs for baggage claim. Signs? What signs? After asking an airport custodian directions to the baggage area we proceeded the seemingly fifteen miles to the luggage belts. We walked, and walked, and walked. You know those moving walkways they have in airports around the country? Ha! What silliness, what pablum! Apparently Miami International and it’s airport authority doesn’t trouble itself with such mundane matters as customer service, efficiency or comfort. No, no. That would be silly. I hopped on another guy’s bag and he rolled me to the baggage claim. It beats walking.
 Is it done yet?
Construction. We here in the MotorCity are familiar with the orange barrel. We also are familiar with the scene of four guys in orange vests watching a fifth guy in an orange vest direct traffic around the construction site so as not to bother the other four guys eating lunch. Compared to Miami’s airport construction, however, Michigan roads will be rebuilt some millenia before the face-lift at MIA is completed. A construction project has been ongoing, according to a Florida source of mine, for at least 10 years with no end in site. The newest terminal at Metro was finished, seemingly, overnight without impacting the flow and traffic here in Detroit. Miami can’t seem to get it done.
Upon our return off our cruise ship, The Norwegian Sky, we disembarked to MIA and again realized that we should have carb-loaded at 6am so our bodies would have sufficient resources to compete in another half-marathon. I didn’t have a water bottle and my wife with her ailing back forgot to pack her personal transporter pad and couldn’t beam the light-years away to the baggage claim again. I’d thought about carrying all our luggage onto the plane myself, but I had liquids, electronics, books, wine, pictures, towels, soaps, sheets, pillows and robes from the cruise ship and it all weighed about four tons.
I stepped outside while waiting for my valuable baggage (I’d paid 50 bucks to check it – therefore it must be valuable). Upon taking in the air filled with the sounds of idling construction equipment, the odor of burning diesel fuel and the sight of hardhat-clad uh-hum workers chatting. I smiled at one of them and was accused of taking a union job away from the official smiler on the site. Sorry about that guys.
Barack Obama ran on rebuilding US infrastructure and shovel-ready jobs. Great. A good idea, I think. Building roads and airports and train stations are usually a great idea provided they actually get completed. The fair people of Florida have been waiting a decade and more to come into the 20th century with their airport. Unfortunately this is the 21st century and they’re a whole century behind. The answer? Easy. Make ‘em work! What a concept.

Miraculous Survivor of Forced Abortion Xue Shen
Yes, I said it, abortion survivor. When Shen Xue was born the doctor decided not to stick needles into her skull and bury her alive. This might not sound miraculous, but that is exactly what happens to so many millions of girls in China.
No, the figure skater that tops the scales at 97 lbs. somehow survived the Chinese version of Universal Healthcare and lived. Of course, not to be deterred, the Chinese figure-skating team’s coach Yao Bin took her from her parents at the age of 8 or younger and started grooming her for competition.
I find it interesting that NBC did an in depth interview and profile of Coach Bin, but did not include any interview with either of the skaters. As we know, the People’s Republic of China is the model of an Utopian society for the likes of Barack Insane Obama and his Democrat minions. After all, if Universal Healthcare can’t slaughter you in the womb or rip you from the birth canal and kill you with lye or needles, then at least BO and his Maoist followers should be able to take you from your parents and mold you to their purposes.
The Chinese pairs team is obviously talented, well-trained, disciplined and athletic. Unfortunately, they are not free. They are lucky to be alive at all, especially the girl, and NBC tells of the pair’s enslavement without blushing or even comment. The official network of the Obama administration simply reports with glee the success of these fine athletes and ignores the circumstances under which they flourished. Given that they are married, live separately, have had no occupation but skating, and have no choice but to skate, I would expect them to succeed. What difference does it make that they were raised by an Olympic failure in his own right instead of their parents? I’m sure they were nurtured in spiritual matters and the importance of family and independence as well as skating, right? Yeah, right.
I can hear the flak now for this blog. I’ll get emails and comments saying: “Why can’t you celebrate this great achievement?” After all, Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo are oldish for figure skaters (36 and 31), they’d come out of retirement to compete, they’d failed to win gold on the Olympic stage before, and they seem such a nice couple. Well, I watched every moment of the performance. I enjoyed the symmetry and grace. I marveled at the speed of the turns and the rpms in the spins. I saw Zhao’s strength when Shen nearly toppled off his back. Yes, I admire the athleticism. Yes, I like good stories. I just think the whole story should be told.
NBC has completely sold out. They care nothing about the millions of serfs and millions of dead children in China. They care nothing about President Obama’ speech in Beijing being censored. They care nothing about a child being stolen from her parents. They care nothing about the execution of dissidents. NBC only wants to continue to suckle at the breast of corporate welfare in the form of advertisement and staying in the good graces of Mao Tse Obama.
As for the Olympics, I hope the Americans win all of the medals. All of them. I find the irony in a Frenchman winning the Biathlon. When is the last time a Frenchman fired a gun in anger anyway? I hope the Russians quit like they did in Afghanistan and the Cold War. I hope the polar bears eat the entire Canadian hockey team except for Mike Babcock. And, I hope the rock from the Curling event careens off the ice, hits the railing and smacks Bob Costas in the teeth. Now that would be Olympic.

I’ve been to several tea parties, town hall meetings, board meetings, city council meetings, non-profit meetings and every type of public gathering you can imagine. Never before have I seen such hatred on display as I did in Lansing, Michigan on Wednesday February 3rd.
No, it wasn’t the tea partiers that were spewing hatred and vulgarity. It was a little group called “By Any Means Necessary”. This group of knuckle-dragging neanderthal bigots was in attendance with the primary purpose of intimidating and shutting down the discourse of fellow concerned American citizens.
You see, the liberal argument cannot stand in the face of a logical argument. Instead, the Progressive/Communist must try to vilify, silence, intimidate and label his enemy with slanderous disregard for the truth. He is an emotional beast that has not yet evolved into a thinking, reasoning and high-minded individual. No, he easily gets caught up in the mob mentality because he has no self-respect, no intelligence, no vocabulary and no learning. He is a throwback to an earlier time, an earlier epoch, a reprobate. He is lost in his own rotting corpse of a soul and cannot escape the prison of emptiness that makes up his vacuous mind.
We tea partiers outnumbered the beasts by 4 to 1. We stood and chatted, quietly. We exchanged greetings with the others we knew and we shared cups of hot chocolate. We warmed ourselves with the hand warmers provided by the GOP State Senators and State Representatives that didn’t have the courage to join us on the steps of the Capitol. We were jovial, laughing, smiling and shaking hands. We were old, young, white, black, Asian, fat and thin, women and men.
The beasts, the BAMN crowd, wore masks to hide their faces, they cussed, they spat, they waved their arms, they growled and sneered. They shoved their hands in our faces, they swore oaths and threatened us. The favorite chant by the beasts was: “No Racists, No Nazis, No KKK”. Which, in its irony, was amusing. The Liberals, after all, play home to the likes of racist Harry Reid, Al Sharpton, John Conyers, Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton, and Jesse Jackson. The same ideology has given a home to ex-KKK grand Master-B, Robert Byrd. Remember, too, that the term NAZI is derived from German for the National Socialist Party.
So, I listened with one ear to the likes of a black Central Michigan University student proclaim the benefits of personal responsibility and limited government as he spoke to the tea partiers, and I listened with the other ear to a greasy, white, foul-mouthed correspondence school graduate spew anti-American, anti-Capitalist, anti-taxpayer, anti-everything normal, rhetoric. My ears were confused.
Its a shame that the guys who were wearing masks to try to intimidate us won’t take them off and look at their reflections in the dingy mirrors in their double-wide trailers’ bathrooms. They might have been shocked to see that they were shouting at themselves. They must evolve. But first, they must stand erect and cleanse themselves of the primordial goo that comprises their otherwise empty, and under-developed craniums.

Fighting the New Religion at a Tea Party Rally in Lansing, Mi.
The separation clause as defined by Thomas Jefferson specifically states that the American people’s legislature “should make no law respecting an establishment of religion.” Which, taken on the whole would seem to indicate that the legislature cannot make law(s) that establish(es) a religion. This raises the question: What is a religion?
Many religions exist. There are those that we recognize as mainstream and quite acceptable in any case, especially in a country that was defined and founded by people who were seeking religious freedom. So as Americans will, we took it into our hands to control, create and found religious sects and whole new religions either imported or domestic. What, though, constitutes a religion?
The Random House Collegiate Dictionary defines religion in several ways:
1. A set of beliefs regarding the cause, nature and purpose of the universe.
2. A specific and INSTITUTIONALIZED set of beliefs agreed upon by a number of persons.
3. Those people who are part of a religion.
4. A point or matter of ethics.
5. Ritual observance of faith.
9. Archaic – Strict faithfulness;devotion.
Nowhere in the definition of the word religion does the word God appear. This very omission of the word god or God from the definition implies that a religion is a group or set of beliefs that do not require one god, ten Gods or any at all. Therefore, it is reasonable to assume that any entity that can be defined as a religion cannot be established by the State.
It is my contention that Socialism, Marxism, Environmentalism, Abortion, Government Education, The Post Office, Social Security, Medicaid, Food Stamps, Medicare, and more all constitute or are a bulwark of a religion. That religion could be named for its founder , Cain, or it could be named for its current prophet, Barack Obama. Obama is a religion in his own right. All of the sacraments of volunteerism, abortion, guilt, redistribution of wealth, racism, sexism and debauchery are participated in by Obama’s followers, many times in his honor.
This religion of destruction that has impacted millions of people throughout history will not be defeated easily. After all, this religion has been established in defiance of Jefferson’s establishment clause. Our government is making laws to establish this religion that is disguised as policy and denying the equal freedom we all have. Obama covered up the crosses at Notre Dame, but he won’t remove the speculum from the hands of the high priests of his religion – abortion doctors.
The Archbishop and papal advisor, George Soros, does not seek publicity for his actions, but prefers to work as the power behind the pulpit. Nobel Laureate Obama seeks to be the global head of the religion. He is not content with his abbey or his monastery. No, the United States does not have enough converts yet to fill his coffers and satisfy his need for power in the religious realm. Only Europe and then Africa and finally Asia and the Pacific Rim will sate his appetites for disciples. He will not be appeased, for he is the Holy Father.
