Is Deb Kennedy a Chicken? She has a Chicken's Judgement.

She’d better be. My strategy to beat the mental giant Deb Kennedy in the General Election was to let her talk, exclusively, and let her lose the election. Every time she votes, she speaks, she writes, or otherwise opens her mouth, nothing but drivel, Socialism, tax hikes, government intrusion and the Nanny State comes out. Deb Kennedy is a disaster as a Representative and a disaster for downriver. She’d better not debate her opponent Pat Somerville. He’s not quite as good MotorCity Mac of course, but he’ll eat her alive nonetheless.

Case in point: See Deb Kennedy’s Campaign Video Here! She comes across as matronly, condescending, slow, and full of crap.

In short, some excerpts from the video transcript read as follows:

Kennedy – “After talking to thousands of people I know that people are sick and tired of the political games that go on in Lansing. As we concentrate on diversifying our economy and creating jobs we also must put into place measures to make sure politicians are held accountable.”

First of all, Mommy, we don’t need you to diversify the economy or try to create jobs. Since you’ve never actually made a payroll or hired an employee or built your own business (no Deb, your name is not Mary Kay), please don’t suggest that you have any clue about what the hell to do. Your arrogance and Communist view that the Almighty State should create jobs smacks of totalitarianism, tyranny and worse, stupidity. Stop raping business owners. Stop punishing people who hire employees. Stop regulating businesses out of business. Stop raping us. You never even kissed us you poor excuse for a public servant.

If Deb Kennedy, who is the poster child for child murder, had any honor left she’d step down and let Pat Somerville get sworn in right away. If Deb Kennedy, who’s campaign coffers are filled to the brim from pro-homosexual marriage groups and transvestite and trans-gender radicals, had any honor left she’d apologize for the thousands of babies that are dead, jobs that are lost, homes that are foreclosed on, families that have been destroyed and lives altered and shattered because of her lack of integrity and intelligence.

My God. What has our country come to when an inexperienced, untried, party-lackey who is destroying our way of life in America and Michigan is even being considered as being capable of representing anyone at all? Kennedy’s ample butt would be fired in 2 months from any private-sector job if she’d ever had one. In contrast, Pat Somerville, her opponent, is young and energetic, healthy, intelligent, and has experience running an actual business with employees and everything! He believes that people should be in charge of their own lives and should be responsible for their own destinies.

Deb Kennedy is a dangerously mis-informed and naive woman. She only cares about power, control, devastating the economy through punitive taxation and regulation and assuring the murder of millions of children. Vote, vote, vote, vote against this worthless excuse for a legislator.

All Liberals are Wrong About Every Issue. Every One. All of Them.

Ooooh. Bold generalization eh? Yeah, I’m really going out on a limb saying that liberals are wrong about everything. Well, sorry, they are.

Barney Frank is Always Wrong. Even about Gay Prostitution.

If your measure of right and wrong is results-based, which scientifically and economically it must be, then liberals are proven to be wrong 100% of the time. Liberalism has never solved a problem that it has claimed to champion. Let’s see: Racism, poverty, equal-rights, teen pregnancy, unemployment, defense, property values, jobs, economy, education, immigration, religious freedom, tolerance, political correctness, safety, and many, many more. Liberalism has never solved any of these problems. Ever.

So, seeing how the results are in and that liberals are ALWAYS wrong, then we must conclude that Progressive/Socialism and the tyranny it breeds is the wrong path if you wish to be right about anything. It must then follow that these Progressive, Secular-Humanist, Narcissists are either A) wrong on accident or B) wrong on purpose.

Let us suppose then that libs are that way because they’re too stupid to know better. That flies in the face of the media accounts of how smart liberals are. After all, John Kerry is a brilliant man. Barney Frank is known for his gravitas and intellectual prowess. I’m sure that Harry Reid’s brain weighs 300 pounds. Nancy Pelosi, the towering giant of reasoning from California makes me blush with self-recriminations over my own inability to cogitate and deduce. I am floored by the magnificent sight of Joe Biden ruminating over the problems of the day. Yes, all liberals are very very smart. Therefore they are not wrong by accident.

It follows then, that being there only 2 possible explanations for liberals being wrong, all the time, every time, it must be true that Liberals are wrong on purpose. To what end? Well, we know that spending more money toward unemployment benefits creates more unemployment and that Libs want to be wrong on purpose, it therefore is reasonable and true that they are trying to increase unemployment. And, again, to what end? To increase the number of voters on the dole and therefore in a way subservient to the State that is supporting them. Huhh. Imagine that.

I’ll finish my treatise by saying that I’ve always known that the Lions are a crappy football team. They are bad at every facet of the game. Defense, Special Teams, Game Plan, Practice, Quarterback, O-Line, Scouting, Drafting, Salary Arbitration, Uniforms, Cheerleaders, Marketing, Sales and everything else, Coaching….anyway. In the same way Progressive Democrats and RINOS are worthless excuses for servants and leaders. They suck at every facet of the game.

Legal Immigrants Defend Life

The Southwest Side of Detroit is a changing area. I do business with folks all over the city of Detroit, but one of my absolute favorite areas is the Southwest Side. Mexicantown sits there like a small oasis of great food and frivolity. Xochimilco, Mexican Gardens and the Tortilla Factory are all worth a visit. Xochi’s has become a regular spot for my gang of misfits (A Mexican, 2 Italians, a German guy, 1 Greek, 2 Scots and a couple of Canadians). We go to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade every year in Corktown (West-Central Side) and we make our way to this great Mexicantown hangout.

So, as I was driving through the Southwest Side to hit a couple of contracting companies that I take care of over there and I see a Hispanic couple standing outside the local Planned Parenthood office. They weren’t just standing there either. They were standing about 3 feet from the front door of the baby-killing factory and were peering in the windows, holding a couple signs. Far be it from me to be shy, so I pulled over and went and talked to them.

This great couple are both first-generation Americans from Mexico. They are devout Catholics. They said that they couldn’t do this kind of protest in Mexico and that they love this country and that they love life. They are fighting a battle we all need to be fighting, that is to preserve hope and potential for the unborn. They have kids who are also LEGALLY here. These two great Americans remind me what it means to be free.

We have a responsibility under the first amendment to the constitution to Live, to Speak, to Worship, to Assemble, and to Redress Grievances to our elected officials. I was reminded again that these 1st amendment rights aren’t just rights. They are our charge, our calling, and our duty as Americans. We cannot close our eyes to what is going on around us in any area of our society, particularly abortion. Too many young girls, mistake made, are sentenced to a life of “what if”s and pain and guilt and regret. We forget the impact that abortion has on those impressionable and in many cases, victimized girls.

If these two great Americans save just one life they are sainted. They have such courage and such boldness that it makes me ashamed that I haven’t done more. The immigrant mentality is a factor in the greatness of America. The Irish, Italians, Russians, Greeks, Scots, Jordanians, Lebanese, Mexicans, Indians, Macedonians and people from every other country in the world come here and realize they can live how they like. They can build whatever kind of life they want. Why, then, is it any different for the rest of us?

No, the people who make this country great are those who are willing to step up, take risks, work their butts off and chase their dreams. The entitlement mentality that comes along with ILLEGAL immigration is destroying our work ethic. Free school, free drugs, free healthcare, free food, free housing, free cars, free Xbox, whatever, saps the work ethic right out of people here legally and illegally. Entitlement and government mandated welfare-slavery is killing a whole generation of people in the city of Detroit.

Take a lesson, as I did, from these spiritually alive people in the Southwest Side. Never give up. Never go along to get along. Never forget your roots. Never forget what’s important. Never rely on others to do your duty for you. Never compromise what is truly important: Life.

Nazis in Your Car – A Guest Blog By EastSide Conservative

This new texting & driving law with a $100 fine is an issue with me, but it’s the popular thing right now. If they are worried about distracted drivers, then why not take ALL forms of entertainment (radios, DVD players, etc) out of cars? And, they’d better take the kids out of the car too because they sure are a distraction while driving! While we are at it lets remove all passengers since you cannot talk to someone in your car and focus on the road ahead!

Also, Giant electronic billboards that light up brightly along the freeway are a distraction, so take down all forms of advertising, because those take our eyes off the road as well. Construction areas are distracting and are extremely dangerous too, we probably should stop fixing the roads. Come to think of it, pretty much everything you do while behind the wheel is a distraction! So instead of banning cell phones, why don’t we just improve our driver’s training courses?

The state, in it’s infinite wisdom, has started putting up these electronic billboards along interstates where they can broadcast messages to drivers like, “Click it or Ticket” and “You drink, You drive, You lose”, but my favorite is: ”AVOID DISTRACTIONS WHILE DRIVING”. You have to look away from the road, while on a 70mph freeway, to read a sign that says avoid distractions! Is this the epitome of irony or what?

This is the same idiotic left-wing liberal socialism that says guns kill people, lets take away all the guns! You know what, the average person is so stupid, we should just make cars that drive and park themselves, because after 100 years of driving people just cant handle it. Oh wait, they already make those.

All Work and No Play Makes Jack a Dull Boy.

Writing this blog has never been work. I just realized this yesterday when I was going door to door in the 23rd with Matt McCormick, who is running for Michigan’s 23rd House Seat. Talking to people can sap your strength except in the case of most of the people we met.

Rest is BEST!

Generally the response to the opening salvo of “I want to limit government and reduce the pay of State Representatives.” is answered by, “Thank God. Somebody has to do it.” So, the road-trip yesterday into the district was a fully complimented choir of songbirds reading from the same music. Young, old, rich, poor, middle-class, white-collar, blue-collar, black and white. A remarkable day of affirmation for our candidate.

So, on this Sabbath day I will do no work. I will instead indulge something that reminds me of God today. I will instead remember this day to keep it Holy. It is imperative that we all do so that we can, too, rest. God took a break from work, and, well, He’s God. All the better for all of us to do the same.

Remember tomorrow is another day of work, but forget about it. Today will only be here until then. Today is fleeing away and if you don’t grab it we all may be only grasping for tomorrows that don’t exist. Rest today. Tomorrow is work.

Steve Mobley For 62nd District Michigan State Representative

I’m giving another endorsement. I have to speak to you all about Steve Mobley, a patriot, who is running for 62nd District State Rep. here in Michigan.

I’ve known Steve now for about a year and I met him at the first ever Tea Party Convention in Holt back in 2009. Steve then was running against Mike Nofs for State Sentate as an Independent. Steve put up a great fight as a conservative alternative to Senator Nofs.

Now it’s time to support Steve as he takes on liberals and crushes them as the bugs they are in this race for the State House. Steve is extremely well versed in the history and ideals of the United States of America and he believes in the principles of self-determination and personal responsibility. Mr. Mobley will make a great Representative and if you live in the 62nd be sure to vote for him on August 3rd in the Republican primary.

Kill the Volcano! It’s Causing Global Warming.

Volcano Blows it's Head OFF for OBAMA

Do you think the volcano in Iceland is causing global warming? Maybe, just maybe, the volcano is working with the Obama administration to stop global warming. I think Barack the Omnipotent used his blackberry and texted the volcano, or send him a facebook message or maybe he tweeted direct.

However he did it, Barack the God of Fire, called this volcano and said, “Hey. This is Barack Obama. Nobel Laureate. President of the United States. I’m the one we’ve been waiting for.”

Volcano: “Love your work with Al Gore. He’s hot! Sorry, a little volcano humor there.”

BO: “Hey…blow your own head off OK? They’ll have to ground all the flights in Europe and we’ll reduce carbon emissions by a huge amount. I really CAN save the world!”

Volcano: “Sure. Let me blow my own head off. There’s only one problem, though.”

BO: “Yeah? What’s that?”

Volcano: “My head is made mostly of CO2 and ash and stuff.”

BO: SILENCE

You think that’s what happened? Silence is the order of the day on this one.

The Jackass and the Elephant. A Modern Fable.

Jackass!

If any animal better portrays the Democrat party, I’m sure I don’t know what it is. The stubborn jackass is willful and stupid. Barney Frank is a fine example of this type of animal. He’s stupid, certainly, and he has the will to resist his employers. Now, Barney’s not my senator, but I’m sure I wouldn’t vote for anyone who is such a jackass. But, I digress, the jackass obviously is the perfect symbol to tell our little story here.

On the other hand you have the elephant. He is master of everything around him. He relishes the thought of stepping on a jackass, but after all, the jackass is carrying all that stuff. So, the elephant leaves him alone until the jackass decides he wants to stop and eat and drink and look for other jackasses to screw around with. The elephant then kicks the jackass in the ass and the jackass cries like a little baby. (This previous paragraph is in no way condoning the kicking of jackasses or any other politician).

The Mighty Elephant

Finally, the elephant ends up carrying everything while the jackass sits in the corner eating straw and whining about his free food. When there is a fight the elephant moves to the front and destroys all enemies. He takes his large feet and steps on the heads of anyone who would invade his territory. He takes what he needs, he provides shelter for anyone who needs it (jackass included) and he works all day long to do so.

Meanwhile, there are sheep and lemmings and sleepy little puppies who just want to nap or be taken care of. These groups of animals provide some food for the elephant’s family and some companionship. In the end, they don’t provide much value, but if you’re hungry enough you can eat them.

The moral of our story is if you want to work with a jackass and have a choice not to, decline. You will end up providing shelter, food, counseling and the sustinence of all your work. The jackass won’t defend your territory and he’ll follow anyone who gives him somewhere to cry himself to sleep at night. Don’t be a jackass.
